The youth at Wootson Temple Church of God in Christ (COGIC) started their annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) mid July. They were taught to remember the good times from their past and dream about the great times to come. To Celebrate the ending of VBS and the beginning of a new school year, the entire Wootson Temple Youth Group ventured out to the newest water park in Central Florida, called Island H2O Live. While participating in the water activities the youth were able to fellowship with the Pastor and First Lady and see them getting slammed in the wave pool.

In addition, Wootson Temple wants every student to have a successful academic year. In order to ignite this great success Wootson Temple supplied every attending youth, grades K-12, with a back to school starter kit. After receiving her kit, six-year old Bella shared her excitement by shouting, ā€œIā€™m ready for school now.ā€

Elder Marvin Wootson, Pastor of Wootson Temple COGIC hands out back to school starter kits to students in the community.

The kit consisted of a pro-spots backpack, 3 folders, 2 packs of wooden #2 pencils, 4 pens, a pack of paper, and a dental hygiene pack.
