The Blessed Place

II KING 2:9

And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.

THE PLAN OF GOD HAS COME TO PASS

The very moment that we were fortunate to become a Jurisdiction in the Church of God in Christ was a tremendous and life changing TURNING POINT. It will be up to each of us to visualize and conceptualize how to take full advantage of this known blessing. Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. PS 102:13

• The Lord’s favor arrived with precise execution for us all.

• The moment or timing for his accomplishment was done with great speed. It was a set time of his manifestation.

THE CROSS OVER is a greater responsibility, anointing and outpour

It is my utmost goal that every church and every ministry, every credential holder and every saint will position themselves for the hand of God to bring greater clarity and direction. As Elijah related to Elisha that the very thing that you are asking for, although it may be a hard thing to achieve but remember it isn’t beyond your reach in God. He was instructing Elisha to now keep his eyes on the blessed prize. We should be willing and obedient and ultimately prepared to sacrifice if needed. My brothers in Christ many of you can attest that accomplishing set goals requires more than just asking for it. We do have to rise up and become all focused in on God’s gift to you. Apostle Peter gave great wisdom when he spoke and left definitive foundational proven truths that he knew would work. He said, For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. II PETER 1:8-10 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and elections sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

What an impactful and insightful scripture that sheds light upon what it takes for greater effectiveness. As we pursue the Lord’s heart, failure isn’t an option. We must finish our race with grace and hope.

PRAYER-FASTING-SEEKING-STUDYING-OBEDIENCE-HOLINESS, FAITH, PATIENCE, TEMPERANCE, BROTHERLY KINDNESS, CHARITY

Those who desire to move forward and upward will have to become focused on what the Lord is saying. I believe that we are at a critical crossing of our lives and ministries. Favor has a definite set time prescribed to it. The forward movement of the various ministries are geared for a NOW EXECUTION.
